Built into the SciSure digital lab platform, this add-on expands standard experiment signing by allowing teams to design custom, multi-step signature workflows tailored to their projects and compliance needs.

Once an experiment is fully approved, it is automatically locked to protect data integrity.

The Signature Workflows add-on goes beyond basic witness and sign functionality by adding structure, permissions, and flexibility.

Dedicated permissions

Only authorized users (such as group administrators) can create and manage signature workflows.

Flexible signer assignment

For each approval step, define who can sign using one of the following options:

A specific user
A user role
Any collaborator on the experiment

Project-based activation

Assign workflows to one or more projects and publish them. Once active, the workflow automatically applies to all unsigned experiments within those projects.
