Kimi Brown

Kimi Brown is Director of Product at SciSure, where she leads product development for the Scientific Management Platform and brings over two decades of experience across lab science and safety. She began her career as a chemist at Merck, working on small-molecule drug synthesis for infectious disease and Alzheimer's research, before spending twelve years at the University of Pennsylvania. There, she rose from Lab Safety Specialist to Senior Lab Safety Specialist and Chemical Hygiene Officer, leading the university's Lab Safety Team. She moved into product in 2022, joining SciShield (now part of SciSure) as a Product Engineer. Her certifications include Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Chemical Hygiene Officer (NRCC-CHO), and Associate in Risk Management (ARM).
