Nikon NIS-Elements eLabNext Add-On is designed for seamless integration between Nikon HealthCare’s microscopy-based systems and the eLabNext platform.
The NIS-Elements eLabNext Add-On enables users to bidirectionally transfer experiment details, such as experimental metadata and analysis results between Nikon’s NIS-Elements software platform and the associated experiment in the platform.

- Experiment details, information on microscope and peripheral hardware settings and user-defined custom metadata from the data acquired within NIS-Elements can be directly uploaded into tables or as attachments to the dedicated sections in the corresponding eLabNext Experiment.
- Users can combine experiment protocols with analysis results and associated image data in one centralized location for further review and analysis of the experiment results.
- Offers complete and comprehensive recording of experiment data while reducing record duplication and data entry errors.
- Experimental protocols from an existing eLabNext Experiment can be easily duplicated for streamlined image acquisition within NIS-Elements.
- Allows users to upload image thumbnails to eLabNext following image acquisition within NIS-Elements for improved documentation and reporting of the experiment results.
- Experiment protocols documented in specific sections within an eLabNext Experiment can be downloaded and saved directly in NIS-Elements’ ND2 image file format. This allows researchers to view important experiment protocols and details directly from within NIS-Elements.
- Easy data access by uploading the name and file path of the acquired NIS-Elements ND2 experiment data file directly into the eLabNext Experiment.
